Farnhill Parish Council Community Emergency Plan
Detailing the council's plans to protect individuals and businesses in our area from a range of environmental, health and economic risks.
Farnhill Parish Council are aware of previous issues of running water across the road at the junction of Main Street and Bradley Road causing ongoing issues for residents. North Yorkshire Council has undertaken extensive investigations and it was felt there may be a section of damage drain under the road that feeds the well (Shelly Well) on Main Street. This has now been repaired and Shelly well flows again. This will hopefully have resolved the issue. If this is unsuccessful then there is a fall back plan to install a French drain in the grass verge and connect it into an existing highway drain. Please continue to report any issues and send pictures so we can monitor this in the meantime.
