| 250/26 Apologies, Reason for absence and Acceptance of reason
Apologies received from Cllr. J. Walton and Cllr. A. Brown. Clerk sent advanced notice of apologies for possible lateness . Clerk arrived 12.09 due to hospital appointment running late.
It was resolved that all apologies and reasons were accepted by the Council. Cllr. W. McDonald took Minutes in Clerks absence. |

254/26 To discuss, review and decide upon the following policies.
Following a thorough review of the proposed policies it was resolved that all policies a.to d. will be adopted. It was also resolved that the Clerk will respond to the current complaint received with an agreed response and provide a copy of the above agreed complaints procedure. Clerk will also contact the Democratic Services and ask if they would be willing to be an independent reviewer if required. |

| 255/26 Updates/Actions for Freedom of Information requests
Under the provision of Paragraph 2.5 of the Farnhill Parish Council Standing Orders, Cllr McDonald moved a resolution that the public be excluded from the meeting by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted. The proposition was seconded by Cllr Close and carried unanimously. The two members of the public present were then asked to leave the meeting. After careful deliberation, it was agreed unanimously by the Council that the two FOI requests under consideration be refused under Section 14(1) of the FOI Act 2000. It was resolved that the Clerk will send agreed responses to the two requests and to contact the democratic services to ask if they would be willing to be an independent reviewer if it comes back for an internal review. |

| Clerk to respond to a resident regarding comments made about the Minutes of the meeting held on 08.01.2026. Council has reviewed the concerns raised and feel that the Minutes are appropriate to the occasion.
Cllr. D. Atkinson to forward Clerk email with all new policies. Clerk to place official stamps on the new policies and publish online for the public. 257/26 Holidays |
