Minutes for the Extra-Ordinary meeting of Farnhill Parish Council Sub Committee to be held on 11th March 2026 at 7.30pm in Kildwick / Farnhill Institute.
Please note that this meeting is a closed meeting meaning that members of the press and public are excluded due to the nature of the business to be transacted being prejudicial to the public interest (Public Bodies Admissions to Meetings ACT 1960)

| 286/26 Apologies, Reason for absence and Acceptance of reason
The complainant emailed today confirming that they are not available and do not consider it to be appropriate to proceed until we have answered further questions received on Wednesday 11 March at 9.30. The email received at 9:30 was responded to at approximately 9:47 confirming that it would be discussed at the next formal council meeting in the meantime the sub committee meeting was to go ahead. With advice from Yorkshire Local Council Association it was decided that the Council must go forward with the complaints procedure based on the fact that it has all been done legally and above board and then the outcome will be forwarded to the complainant. |

288/26 To conduct a review of complaint received Decision
The complaint was considered in considerable detail in the absence of the complainant the sub committee determined that there was not one complaint but 5 complaints to be considered. Each complaint was dealt with separately in great detail.
The committee formulated their responses and this will be notified in a separate document to be forwarded to the complainant and the full Parish Council.
