Shelly Well Flows Again

Farnhill Parish Council are extremely thankful to North Yorkshire Highways team for their fantastic engineering skills on Bradley Road.

A lot of in-depth investigation has gone into overflowing drainage systems from Bradley Road onto Main Street.  It was discovered that there was a damaged drainage system on Bradley Road which may have been causing much of the issues.  We are happy to confirm that the works have been undertaken and in doing so the historic Shelly Well once again flows and sounds amazing. We are hopeful that this will also resolve a lot of the issues on Main Street but there is a further plan if this work has not fully resolved the issues with Main Street drainage. We must of course also send the Parish Councils thanks to all those residents that were involved in the process, we could not have achieved this without your input.
